Bryan P. Andaya

Born in Honoka'a, Hawaii, Bryan's passion has always been to help businesses and professionals reach their full potential to contribute to Hawai'i. Today, Bryan lives his passion helping businesses and individuals become better leaders, communicate more effectively and exude a sense of purpose in attaining business and personal goals.
Bryan's latest venture is a company he started in 2021- Andaya Consulting, which assists businesses, organizations, and professionals with strategic planning, change management and leadership development. This venture complements Bryan's passion for teaching, which he first realized while teaching at Eddie Flores Real Estate Continuing Education, a company he now owns and operates after first teaching in 2001. Licensed to practice in Hawaii as an attorney, Bryan is a Director at the ES&A law firm where he specializes in franchising, business transactions, real estate and labor and employment law.
Dedicated to public service, he serves on the board of the HONOLULU BOARD OF WATER SUPPLY (BWS) where he was Chair from 2016 to 2023 and is currently serving his final year on the Board with his term ending in 2025. With over 232,000 rate payers and serving almost one million individuals on O'ahu, BWS is by far Hawaii's largest water system and operates as a semi-autonomous agency of the City and County of Honolulu as both purveyors of water and the primary delivery system of water to residents and businesses. As Chair, Bryan provides leadership and guidance to an agency with over 700 full-time positions through two water rate studies, the Ha'iku Stairs controversy and most recently, the Red Hill crisis.
Bryan is also a member of the Board at the OAHU TRANSIT SERVICES, INC. (the Bus). Most recently, he was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of UHA HEALTH INSURANCE where he is chair of the finance and investment committee and the building committee.
Bryan has received numerous awards and commendations including the PACIFIC BUSINESS NEWS (PBN) Young Business Leader of the Year and HAWAII BUSINESS MAGAZINE’S Twenty to Watch for the Next 20 Years. He has also been featured on Leslie Wilcox’s popular television talk show Long Story Short on PBS.
His previous positions include: President & COO, L & L Franchise, Inc.; Chair, Board of Directors, Goodwill Hawaii; Field Representative, U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz; Attorney, Imanaka Kudo & Fujimoto; Law Clerk, Honorable Mario R. Ramil, Supreme Court of Hawai’i; and Law Clerk, Honorable Riki May Amano, Circuit Court of the Third Circuit.
